A Word from the Mayor

The holidays are a time of year to reflect upon our many blessings. It is a festive time to share special moments with our family, friends, and loved ones. It is also a time to share great stories of those family members and friends who are no longer with us and delight in those memeories. We look ahead to a new year filled with promise and new opportunities.

During this holiday season I want to take the time to offer my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the citizens of North Hatley for your continued engagement, cooperation and support. I believe that it is through this encouraged involvement that we will be able to achieve the goals we have for our Village, together.

I also want to express my appreciation to the Director General and all the members of our administration, along with the public works department for their dedication, commitment and service to our community. The work that you all perform each and every day, meeting the needs of our citizens is part of what can enhance the quality of life and what helps in building our community.

In the spirirt of the holidays, I commend all who have made a special effort to give back to our community. With the new year approaching I look forward to the new and exciting opportunities that lie ahead for North Hatley. I remain committed to rekindling community spirit and citizens’ involvement.
