Work Notice – Sanitary Pipe Cleaning

Inspection and cleaning of sanitary sewer pipes

Within the strategic plan for the conservation of drinking water of the Government of Québec and in order to allow us to have a better idea of any problems that affect our water and sewage networks (in order to be able to react proactively), North Hatley must complete a visual inspection of its water distribution and sewage networks.  This visual (televised) inspection is the last step in the completion of an intervention plan mandate that was given in July of 2019.  The intervention plan is mandatory for municipalities and must be provided to the Government of Québec.  The intervention plan will allow us to obtain the remaining funding from the TECQ program.  Equally, it will allow us to identify priorities, in order to then seek out grant funding from the various government programs for the updating of our infrastructure.
